Spirit Guides

Also identified as an holy spirit or Guardian angel, the Spirit Guide generally makes reference to one or more entities who watch, teach, heal, and help us on our physical journey into spiritual awareness. They are in a higher frequency, while you experience life in the physical in the lower frequency.

Spirit guide” is also a term used by the Western tradition of Spiritualist Churches, mediums, and psychics to describe an entity that remains a disincarnate spirit in order to act as a guide or protector to a living incarnated human being.

Traditionally, within the spiritualist churches, spirit guides were often thought to be Native Americans, Chinese or Egyptians being popular for their perceived ancient wisdom.

According to theosophy, spirit guides are not always of human descent. Some spirit guides live as energy, in the cosmic realm, or as light being. The light beings are very high level spirit guides. Some spirit guides are persons who have lived many former lifetimes, paid their karmic debts, and advanced beyond a need to reincarnate. Many devotees believe that spirit guides are chosen on “the other side” by human beings who are about to incarnate and wish assistance.

Communication with Spirit Guides is generally telepathic, with archetypes and visual imagery, observed during meditation, dream time, or just learning how to focus, look and listen to messages received. Some people call this method of connection, channeling. The more you practice, the easier it gets.

The number of spirit guides one has, varies within that person’s experiences. Spirit guides can go by many names. Often they connect with more than one person at a time, using identities that are comfortable to those they communicate with.

Each guide generally comes to you for a specific purpose – creative abilities, healing issues, spiritual development, all this to help your evolution.
